Thesis Proposal: Implementing Public and Private Key Cryptology on SMS Messanging of Symbian OS Phones using J2Me Platform
For our new senior IT thesis proposal, we had a redirection from wireless network security to SMS security. Our new thesis topic will now focus on protecting SMS messages through private and public key cryptology. The concept is basically creating an application that enables the user to encrypt his/her every message that he/she is sending. The user has an option whether or not he/she wants to encrypt it. The encryption will be a double layer encryption with the first layer based on the destination cellphone number and the second layer based on a private key. The encryption is done before the message is sent thus it does not need any support or intervention from the service provider. The recipient has 3 chances of inputting the private key. If he/she fails to input the right private key, the message will be temporarily inaccessible for 1 hour. This is an added security measure to prevent “guessing”. The scope of our thesis will only cover the SMS technology and only with phones that are using Symbian OS. We firmly believe that with the popularity of SMS messaging most especially here in our country (Philippines), there is a great need to protect and make it more secured. Our thesis tries to solve various SMS problems like wront sent messages, SMS sniffers and unauthorized use of cellphone. hello talgang problelm ang thesis title. pero swerte ako, nag suggest skin ung head namin. un nga lang wala akong kaidiidea kung kakayanin ko to. pls. help me. documentation ako this sem. tpos second sem ung program. website ung gagawin ko. parang social networking-like exclusively sa mga graduates ng school ko. 5 years ago.
main topic ng site is employability.
interested kc ung head namin kung nasaan na ung mga graduates ng school. ang result nito is malalaman ng school kung ano work history nila after nila gumraduate.
